For the 4th annual Children’s Festival in Los Angeles, we decided to do something a little different. We celebrated Halloween, in true Thriller style! We had 80 kids attend the event in their amazing costumes. The festival was geared towards kids with special needs or life threatening illnesses & most of the families were invited by the Starlight Foundation. As always, the event was completely free.
The day was full of fun including music, karaoke, relay games, arts & crafts, costume contests, and raffle prizes. It was a beautiful day in the park with children in costumes & painted faces eating hot dogs & creatively carving pumpkins. We ended the event with teaching the Thriller dance then breaking the giant pumpkin piñata.
Thank you to our volunteers and supporters for making this festival a huge success!
